The role of Children’s & Families Worker is integral to our vision as we enter an exciting new season at Shoreditch Tab. We long to offer excellent, creative children’s and youth work that reflects the love and hope of Jesus. Our aim is to build on the community work we’re already doing with children and their families, helping them to feel truly at home in our church and encouraging regular Sunday engagement.
We envision a parent-and-toddler group during the week and an after-school programme for 4–11s that supports both church and local community families. We want to create a natural flow between our community and church offering a welcoming, faith-filled space where families can grow together and children can encounter God’s love and be equipped to follow Jesus.
There is a genuine occupational requirement that the job-holder is a Christian, and is comfortable working with diverse communities.
Please note that this role will require a DBS and excellent references from church leadership and employer before interview stage.
