Ackworth Community Church is an independent charismatic Evangelical Church based in the village of Ackworth, near Pontefract in West Yorkshire. It started in October 1991 as a church plant from a church in a nearby village. It has always had a missional focus, seeking to work with other local churches in the village and reach out into the community.
