We are delighted to be building a brand-new Encounter Team within the Salford Archdeaconry — a forward-looking initiative designed to strengthen ministry with children, young people and families across our schools, churches and mission communities.

Thanks to recent national funding from the Church Commissioners, we are now seeking Encounter Ministry Workers to join this new team. These posts will contribute to a range of ministry areas, which may include:

• Early years engagement and toddler ministry
• Children and families faith development
• Youth discipleship and outreach
• School chaplaincy and developing young leaders

Each Encounter Ministry Worker will be assigned a primary ministry focus based on their strengths, passion and experience. All roles will work closely with the Salford Encounter Archdeaconry Lead as we equip local churches and schools, nurture young disciples, and encourage creative, mission-shaped ministry across the Archdeaconry.

We are seeking individuals who are:

• Passionate about seeing children and young people grow in faith
• Creative, adaptable and confident working in diverse community and school settings
• Able to inspire and equip others
• Excited about shaping fresh expressions of worship, faith exploration, and leadership opportunities
