Hexham Community Church
Hexham Community Church is located in the attractive market town of Hexham, approximately 20 miles west of Newcastle. The growing membership currently stands at 80 + adults, and also serves a wide area beyond the town. Using contemporary worship and relevant Biblical teaching, we partner with Betel UK and The Message Trust (Eden project and Community Grocery). We are part of Taking Ground, a network of Churches in the North East.
We currently reach out to the young people in our community through a weekly drop in, Kid`s Church on Sundays and also run Messy Church. We also participate in the annual Hexham Holiday Club and Texan week when HCC hosts a team of students from Baylor University, Texas who work in the local Schools and community.
The leadership now wish to appoint a full time paid youth worker to further develop ministry with older children and young people, both in the church and wider community.
