Who we are
Safe Families and Home for Good is a Christian, community-based charity that seeks to see children and families thrive. Safe Families empowers local volunteers, predominately from the church, to engage with those most at need. We exist to create relationship and connection, offering support, hope and belonging to improve the lives of those in our communities, because everyone deserves to belong. Working hand-in-hand with Children’s Services and local authorities, we link children, young people and families with local volunteers who can offer help and support. Working with a large volunteer base Safe Families assists families in crisis by offering remote support, respite care to children and befriending to struggling parents and carers.
Role Overview
The Personal Assistant (covering for the Executive Assistant on maternity) will be the supportive force behind the CEO Office. This role will work closely with both co-CEOs (one internally facing, one externally facing) ensuring all processes, tasks, proactive planning is in place to enable them to achieve within their roles and portfolios. The Co-CEO with the External brief will utilise the PA in far greater measure than the Co-CEO Internal due to the quantity of meetings, follow-up of those meetings, papers and presentations required, diary management and connecting her to her Co-CEO and SLT. The PA will be the first point of contact for the CEO Office and be expected to hold good relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
