Who We Are
Safe Families and Home for Good is a Christian, community-based charity that seeks to see children and families thrive. Safe Families empowers local volunteers, predominately from the church, to engage with those most at need. We exist to create relationship and connection, offering support, hope and belonging to improve the lives of those in our communities, because everyone deserves to belong. Working hand-in-hand with Children’s Services and local authorities, we link children, young people and families with local volunteers who can offer help and support. Working with a large volunteer base Safe Families assists families in crisis by offering remote support, respite care to children and befriending to struggling parents and carers.
Role Overview
We are seeking an astute and tenacious Business Development Manager to lead us forward at this exciting time as Safe Families and Home for Good continue to maximise the potential of our recent merger to one charity. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our partner relationships across the region by ensuring delivery on our reporting commitments, seeking out critical data to evidence impact and presenting it in engaging and accurate ways.
Reporting directly to the Regional Director, the Business Development Manager will provide operational leadership capacity, hold accurate understanding of the delivery of all current contracts and be involved in the planning and implementation of new partnerships. With a blend of creative flair and operational diligence, you will highlight the incredible impact of the activity of Safe Families and Home for Good in local area partnerships, maximising the opportunity for sustained and increased funding.
As a leader in our Regional Team, you will work collaboratively with other regional and national leaders across many of our key departments. You will also oversee the operational functioning of the region.
This can either be a fully office based or a hybrid role, where you would be connected to one of our regional offices at an agreed pattern which offers the flexibility of working up to 75% from home. You will also occasionally need to travel across the region, and at times across the UK, to meet the demands of this position.
