Church Planter

London Rangers Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Church Planters to join form our core team as we prepare to launch in August 2025. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in meeting, planting, and conducting outreach to build a vibrant and welcoming church community.

About Us: London Rangers Church, originally starting as an Assemblies of God (AoG) church in Wembley which closed in 2012. Despite the closure, our community continued to thrive through our football club, which played at step 5/6 in non-league football and is now at step 7. We also run New Level Academy, an alternative education school catering to young people aged 12-18 years old who have reached a crisis in mainstream education. Our love for football and commitment to education are central to our mission. We are registered with the Evangelical Alliance as a new church plant.

Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community to build relationships and identify needs.
• Church Planting: Lead efforts to establish and grow the church, including organising and hosting initial gatherings and services.
• Outreach: Develop and implement outreach strategies to attract new members and spread the church's message.
• Leadership: Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the core team and congregation.
• Event Planning: Organise and coordinate events, workshops, and activities to foster community involvement and spiritual growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other core team members to ensure cohesive planning and execution of church initiatives.
• Mentorship: Mentor and support volunteers and new members, helping them integrate into the church community.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with the congregation, providing updates and encouraging participation in church activities.
• Vision Development: Contribute to the development and articulation of the church's vision and mission.

• Desire to church plant or related ministry work
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others
• Passion for community outreach and engagement
• Organisational skills and attention to detail
• A love for football and a commitment to supporting youth education
