Bearfield Church is seeking a Children, Youth and Families Outreach Worker. The purpose of this exciting new post is to pioneer, develop and lead the delivery of the youth, families and outreach work of Bearfield Church in the local community.
About the Role
The Children, Youth and Families Outreach Worker will enable the church’s mission amongst, and discipleship of children, young people and their families, through leadership, encouragement and direct work with a variety of groups within and outside Bearfield.
About You
The successful applicant will be a committed Christian, have vision and passion, be a great communicator and a self-starter, with experience of working with young people, children and families.
What we offer
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 FTE (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours a week which will involve regular weekends and evenings and some school holidays (please note we are open to consider substantial part time or semi-term time contracts.)
Duration: Initial 3-year fixed term contract
