Cafe Manager

We are a warm and welcoming Christian café committed to serving our community with delicious food, excellent hospitality, and the love of Christ. Our café is more than just a place to eat—it’s a place of connection, encouragement, and spiritual support.
 

We’re looking for a passionate and capable Café Manager to lead our team both practically and spiritually.

This is a hands-on role that combines leadership with a willingness to serve alongside the team in all aspects of café life—from managing the day-to-day operations to cooking, cleaning, and offering prayer and encouragement where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily running of the café, including staff scheduling, inventory, and general operations.
• Serve customers with warmth and professionalism, upholding a high standard of hospitality.
• Step into kitchen and front-of-house roles as needed during busy periods or staff shortages.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the café at all times.
• Lead and encourage the team spiritually, offering prayer, support, and setting a Christ-like example.
• Maintain a positive, faith-filled environment for both staff and customers.
• Work closely with volunteers and community partners where applicable.

Requirements:

• You have experience in food service, hospitality, or café/restaurant management.
• You’re flexible, hands-on, and happy to jump in wherever needed.
• You have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a team.
• You’re comfortable leading devotionals, praying with staff or customers (when appropriate), and being a spiritual presence in the café.
• Food hygiene certification is a plus (training can be provided if needed).
