On the 26th March, ChristianJobs are partnering with Nazarene Theological College to run our first Careers and Networking Showcase. At ChristianJobs we are passionate about people discovering how they can use their gifts and passions to serve God.
Over the coming weeks, we are going to release updates on the amazing organisations who will be exhibiting at the showcase, to give you a taster on the breadth of opportunities of how you can get involved with Christian organisations.
Esther from Heartlift shares some of the vision that drives their work:
Heartlift is a Christian organisation committed to helping others. We are a faith based but not faith biased charity and we believe in the simple core values of life, which include kindness, respect, and caring for one another. Our passion is helping those in society that have greater needs and need additional support.
Confidence building is embedded into all projects that we deliver and everything we do. So often, people find themselves in a place where they struggle to see their potential. At Heartlift, we want to walk a mile in their shoes, raise their aspirations and give them confidence to achieve their goals. To do this we have a variety of different, tailor made packages to support them.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our mentoring service and office-based work. We are also looking for paid staff and volunteers to help run our weekend and school holiday SEND respite services. If you appreciate the work we do in Bolton we'd love individuals to consider promoting our opportunities within their organisations and social circles or financially support us.
