EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – LONDON
Hours of work: 28 hours per week. To be worked Tuesday to Friday (9.30 - 5.30)
Salary: £18,418 - £20,020 Salaried
Pension: 3% Employer Contribution, 5% Employee Contribution
Contract: 12 –month contract, with potential of extension subject to funding

Streetlight UK is a small but growing charity. We are looking for an enthusiast and experienced Executive Assistant to provide a comprehensive organisational and administrative support for the Director. Someone who thrives in a busy and varying role, who is calm under pressure, with a strong ability to prioritise the Directors workload whilst managing and completing multiple tasks to deadlines. To do this role effectively you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, be extremely fast at solving problems and have experience as an executive or administration assistant in the past. This role also incorporates supporting the Director in the development of Streetlight UK’s communications and I.T.
Scope of the Job:
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide extensive administrative support to the Director in the leadership and management of the organisation and overall strategic objectives of Streetlight UK.
You will be the first point of contact for the Director, dealing with phone calls, emails, diary organisation and other correspondence. You will further oversee the production and development of Streetlight UK’s communication platforms – including the newsletters, publicity materials, social media and the website development and content.
Whilst working closely to the Director, you will also work closely with the Board of Trustees through regular correspondence. Also, you will organise meetings for the Director and Board of Trustees and prepare briefing materials for the Director. In addition, you will coordinate departmental reports and documentation for the Board of Trustees meeting and other meetings with outside partners.
You will represent the organisation at specified events and networks locally and participate in Streetlight UK’s annual fundraising and awareness campaigns.
