French Alps Chalet Host Summer 2019
Richmond is looking for Chalet Hosts to help run our fantastic French Alps holiday this Summer!
Our picturesque alpine chalet is buzzing throughout July and August with access to mountain peaks over 3200m and activities including mountain and road biking, hiking, white water rafting, climbing, paragliding, horseriding, archery, and much more. This year the Tour de France passes near us twice during July which always results in much excitement and festivities!
To ensure the smooth running of the chalet and undertake any tasks necessary towards this including: cleaning, serving and teens work.
To have a guest focussed approach and be willing to undertake any requests from guests at any time, remembering that even on your time off you are on duty and representing Richmond.
To partake in and contribute to regular times of prayer or bible study in order to maintain a living and active relationship with God. To be looking to advance your journey as a Christian, wherever you feel you are at the start of your role.
To encourage, support and live in harmony with other staff members wherever possible
Cleaning rooms and public areas of the chalet
Serving meals, managing the buffet, clearing meals, potwash and bins
Serving afternoon tea – actively making conversation with guests and serving behind the bar
Running the evening entertainment programme on a rota system
Working with teenagers on holiday in resort, running activities and entertainments for them and running a suitable and engaging time of bible ministry for them.
Driving transfers if competence, experience and age allows (at Resort Manager’s discretion)
Any other roles or duties given to you by the Resort Manager or Head Host to help with the smooth running of the chalet
Applicants for this role must have a full UK/EU driving license and be able to commit to the full season.
