About Us

Why, as a charity, do we take in people’s unwanted items? What do we do with the money made? Why do we charge such LOW prices?

We do these things because we run a God centered charity. Our mission is to bring hope to the lost. Taking and restoring unwanted items, and then selling them at prices everyone can afford. Using that money to provide help and support for the unemployed, ex addicts, ex offenders and homeless. It all is to glorify God.

About the Role


  • Customer care focused. You are an ambassador for Renewal North West
  • Market products on our eBay site, using well-established selling procedures and techniques
  • Respond to customers’ inquiries regarding products, and delivery, ensuring that the right type and amount of information is forwarded (will involve out of work hours communications)
  • Provide customers with information on delivery amounts, in addition to the cost of products and payment options
  • Diligently review all orders to determine the quantity and type of products ordered
  • Pick, pack, label and ship products to the customer, and provide delivery timelines
  • Respond to customers’ queries regarding service and product quality, aiming to resolves all issues to a positive conclusion
  • Handle returns and exchanges in sync with the guidelines provided by Renewal North West
  • Create an online and physical inventory to determine the availability of products
  • Oversee the inventory to ensure product availability and assess stock situations
  • Research products to ascertain the true market value
  • Quality check all products, so all items are listed with integrity
  • Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers and customers to ensure positive working relationships
  • Adhere to all eBay policies and procedures
  • Liaise with showroom and van teams for an efficient selling process
  • Responsibility for managing eBay volunteers to aid them in developing new skills and self-esteem
  • A target driven position

  • A proven track record of selling eBay items with 100% positive feedback
  • An understanding of eBay policies and procedures
  • Insightful about online selling and inventory management
  • A confident proactive approach when dealing with a customer by email, phone or in person
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people and team working skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and organise own time
  • Diligent worker with an eye for detail
  • Values integrity in their work
  • Computer literate
  • English Language GCSE A-C 
  • Health & Safety trained (preferable but not essential)
  • Manual handling trained (preferable but not essential)
