Events Production Co-ordinator

The Message Trust

Our Events Production Co-ordinator will play a vital role in facilitating technical support at The Message Trust, associated events, gigs and conferences - both internal and external. You will execute venue visits to consider technical requirements and work closely with the Fleet & Facilities Manager to ensure all necessary risk assessments are completed for all teams working away from Message HQ.

You will be required to organise repair and maintenance works for all internal equipment and ensure that all dry-hire equipment is organised after use and ready for collection/delivery and ensure that returns match the associated paperwork. You will organise and facilitate The Message warehouse venue from a technical perspective, which includes maintaining, improving and tidying the stage and front of house area, alongside delivering front of house sound for the organisation's monthly prayer days. You will contact any visiting bands to establish their technical requirements and liaise with the contracted production company.

The person we are seeking will be a team player who has the ability to confidently communicate with other Message staff, church leaders, schools and external production companies. You will be able to show leadership skills by using your own initiative when required but also be able to take instruction. You will be practically minded and be able to show patience when dealing with difficulties and have excellent organisational skills.

You will need to be familiar with running events and have a general knowledge and understanding of the working context and be able to work evenings and weekends.
