Senior Graphic Designer

To produce cutting-edge design for The Message that are informed by the latest trends, rolling these out consistently across multiple platforms from magazine and editorial design, social media, digital platforms, roller banners to web banners, printed pieces and event slides. Follow a solid design process from brief to execution. Bring unique creative skills to the table, like illustration or web design, and use them to enhance the Message’s design offering. To liaise with printers and suppliers, getting quotes and arranging deliveries on time and on budget – Be competent in getting files press-ready or be pixel accurate for online deliverables. Having a ‘can do’ attitude in the tightest of deadlines and showing initiative to deliver solutions above the clients expectations. Play an active role in owning and managing the creative team’s systems, including file storage, job management and photography libraries. You will need to be proactive in receiving briefs, gathering research, sketching concepts, articulate your reasoning, present concepts, executing changes, and delivering to online or print deliverables. Keeping up to date with the job list and report weekly to department Manager. Any other related duties may from time to time be necessary, at the discretion of the Communications Manager. Enter fully into The Message Trust team life, including morning prayers, monthly prayer days, evening prayer meetings and events. Must be prepared, on occasions, to work away from Manchester and work weekends
