Website Content Manager
This role is responsible for managing the content on Lion Hudson website, maintaining Web design, and working with editorial, IT and marketing teams to facilitate this. The company website and affiliated sites are the shop window and front door of our publishing business. Lion Hudson requires a continually fresh approach to sourcing and adding content to the website. This involves being responsible for proposing, planning, sourcing, and creating content including written text, multimedia, and images; writing engaging web text for specific target audiences and managing basic web design such as creating landing pages and linking to social and multimedia platforms; and using web content managing systems daily for quality checking, carrying out metadata checks, and reporting technical issues to IT support team. In addition, the website content manager collaborates with e-commerce service providers and website partners, manages corporate postings, as well as attends meetings to feedback web plans to the wider company, including website usage and statistics to analyse effectiveness. As the in-house website specialist, the role also includes keeping informed about website and online developments in the publishing industry and sharing best practice.
