In 20 years we’ve reached 26,000 children and carried out 600,000 home visits. In the next 10 years with our partners we are working to reach more children than ever before and take the support deeper for the children we work with. After 20 years much trust has been established and the scope of our frontline work with some of our cities most vulnerable children has grown considerably. We are working with a partnership of churches and supporters across the city and beyond… it’s an exciting time. We believe that the children are the community changers and nation shakers our job is to help them to shine.
Kidz Klub Leeds is a registered charity (1084977) working with 4-11 year olds growing up in poverty in Leeds. Our vision is to see lasting transformation through the love of God for the most marginalised and vulnerable unchurched children, their families and communities in Leeds. Our activities for 1250 children currently include weekly home visits, schools work in 34 inner city primary schools, grassroots community and family support work, local Hub Klubs and a big Central weekly Klub with 7 double decker buses.
About the Fundraiser Role
We are looking for a dedicated person to join our Fundraising Team who is passionate about our vision and can use their talents to help us reach many more children in the next 10 years. The Fundraiser will join our existing Fundraising Team to help to develop and strengthen our funding base across all areas of fundraising. They will have a key role in implementing the fundraising strategy for Kidz Klub to enable the growth of the charity.
This is a crucial role, working to strengthen and develop all areas of the fundraising strategy for Kidz Klub Leeds. The successful applicant will work alongside the Charity Co Leader, who oversees the Fundraising Strategy, and the existing Fundraising Team to deliver fundraising through; trusts, events and community groups, individuals, legacies, churches & corporate supporters and will work to develop new streams of income for the charity.
The position is available for 37.5 hrs/week (less hours or a term time only role may be considered for the right candidate). Salary £17,901-£22,658 gross dependant upon experience and qualifications. A Pension is offered in line with the Trusts policy. Annual leave pro rata of 6 weeks/year.
