Training Officer

Could you help us to equip and engage young people and their influencers in exploring big questions of science and religious faith?

The Faraday Institute Youth and Schools Programme are seeking to expand our reach by employing an enthusiastic and creative individual to fill the part-time position of Training Officer on a 3-year contract.

Purpose of Job:

To develop new and existing training programmes that will equip teachers, church workers, and speakers to positively influence the way children and young people consider big questions about science and faith.

Role Outline:

The Training Officer will:

  • work closely with the team to coordinate, develop, and deliver relevant aspects of the training programmes
  • take the primary role in promotion and administration of training events
  • take the primary role in developing curriculum-relevant training materials
  • collaborate with the Faraday Institute team and associated experts to develop best practice regarding pedagogical approaches and implementation of excellent training
