Relief Care and Support Workers
These are strange times. Times which many of us will find challenging but can also bring out the best in us all.
At CrossReach we’ve been working for over 150 years in Scotland to support the most vulnerable people in society. From older people to the homeless, to those with learning disabilities or mental health challenges. During the next few weeks or months some of our staff will need to self-isolate or take time away from their jobs, which may leave those who need our care without the necessary support.
We’re looking for people to join us on a relief or temporary basis to fill Care Worker and Support Worker roles. You don’t need any particular experience, just a kind and patient attitude. Perhaps you’ve been working in a shop, café or gym? You may be looking after your family but have some spare time in the evening or at night? Whatever your background we’re sure you can make a difference.
In return we’re offering:
- Competitive salary/hourly rate
- Employer contributory pension
- Full training
- Flexible hours
With over 65 services across Scotland, there’s bound to be an opportunity in a CrossReach service near you. Find out more at www.crossreach.org.uk/careers
