Youth Development Worker
Cornerstone Christian Fellowship have an opening for an enthusiastic individual to work with their youth and develop a youth ministry in the church and wider community.
The successful candidate will be able to teach and relate to young people, the age group is 12 plus. A good sense of fun and creativity would be essential to this post, as is a pastoral heart to see the youth grow in their relationship with Christ.
The candidate must be a practising Christian and have a heart for God, and a desire to grow in faith, in agreement with the vision of the church.
Relevant experience in youthwork or transferrable skills will be considered.
Cornerstone is an independent evangelical/Pentecostal church situated in Cumbernauld Town Centre.
Given uncertainty over COVID-19 restrictions, it may be that initial work will be carried out online.
Depending on circumstances free board and accommodation may be provided.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Pay: £9,984 per annum
Fixed Term for one year with possibility of extension, expanding the role.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
There is an occupational requirement for the role holder to be a Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1 S.3
