CRBC is seeking an experienced Christian Youth Ministry Leader to build upon the strong foundations of our existing youth work, to shape our ministry at this significant time, as we reset and reconnect as a church family and community. We believe everything we do should be either a ‘pathway’ or ‘gateway’ to Jesus and as Youth Ministry Leader you will take the lead on visioning and realising this with our valued team of dedicated volunteers.
Your strong Christian faith and close walk with Jesus will provide our young people with a positive role model, demonstrating God’s love for them and others, as you lead this area of ministry.
As Youth Ministry Leader you will help to influence our young people to be part of a vibrant Christian community within which they feel they belong and their gifts are recognised and nurtured. Our young people are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in them, knows how to have fun, understands them and cares for their spiritual, emotional and physical needs.
We are open to exploring changes in how we minister to an increasingly diverse group of young people, and are keen to engage with and serve our wider community through outreach. Forging meaningful relationships with local churches, schools and organisations is an area we are also eager to develop and enhance.
CRBC can offer you
- The privilege of ministering to our amazing young people, of whom there are currently 25 to 30, and all the joy that they have to offer those that spend time with them!
- A dedicated volunteer base that have a desire to see our young people come to know Jesus and are committed to journeying with them.
- Membership of a welcoming and inclusive church family, who prayerfully encourage and care for one another.
- The opportunity to be part of a staff team, led by our Lead minister and the support of our trustees.
- A retreat day once a month
- Regular prayer and team meetings
- Appropriate training and ongoing development
- Competitive pension
- 5 weeks holiday a year
CRBC look forward to welcoming someone experienced with fresh ideas and new skills that will serve this important part of church family with passion, enthusiasm, and the love of Christ.
