Southampton City Mission

Southampton City Mission is an independent, non-denominational Christian charity working with all “flavours” of the Christian Church, originally established in 1963. We aim to “serve the Church as it serves the City”, looking for ways to enable Christians to bless their communities and share the good news of Jesus in word and action. We oversee three main projects currently; SCM Basics Bank - emergency food and clothing banks; SCM Schools – supporting schools in their delivery of the RE curriculum; and SCM Marketplace - a community food membership scheme. We operate with a small staff team and a much larger team of volunteers.

Able to manage a varied workload, you will provide administrative support to new and established projects and take day to day responsibility for Data Protection and Health and Safety.
