Association of Christian Counsellors

ACC was founded in 1992 to improve the standards of counselling being provided by Christians through training, establishing a Code of Ethics and Practice and working with counsellors to develop good practice. Over nearly 30 years it has continued to work in this way and now has over 850 individual counsellors working across the UK in a variety of settings and approximately 80 affiliated organisations, which provide training and counselling agency services.

Pastoral Care UK (PCUK) was established to equip, train and support Christians (individuals and organisations) involved in pastoral care through membership, training resources and advice. PCUK membership is approximately 120.

ACC is non-denominational and always seeks to work collaboratively within the Christian and professional counselling world.
