Dr Graham's Homes, UK Committee

The UK Committee of Dr Graham's Homes arranges payment for the education, board and lodgings of about 250 children at Dr Graham's Homes in Kalimpong, India.

The Homes, sometimes referred to as 'the children's village in the Himalayas' were founded in 1900 by Dr John Anderson Graham, a Church of Scotland minister and missionary. They were established to provide a home and education for needy Anglo-Indian children. The Homes are now a large boarding and day school, still with a Christian ethos. About 250 needy children are supported financially and otherwise by individuals or groups in the UK
