The Water Lily Project is a Christian charity that primarily aims to support and empower vulnerable women and lead them back to independent living. We support women with mental health issues, addictions, financial hardship, domestic abuse and housing issues. We operate out of a community cafe called the 'Water Lily Cafe' where we can train our beneficiaries and build their confidence and hospitality skills. We also have an IT room to upskill women in our care and help with CV writing. As a secondary role we reach our local community by providing social inclusion initiatives such as 'Chatty Tables' for the lonely and 'Chatterbox' bringing the elderly and pre-school children together. We provide nutritious, affordable meals for the elderly and vulnerable and have various projects/courses that run throughout the year.
